On May 12, was elected at a plenary meeting of the new circuit board of the Young Socialists Hamburg Nord. With 83 voting Jusos the Assembly was also in this year of more than busy. Steven presented the annual report of the outgoing board the successes of the past year is, and gave an outlook on the work next year. In the subsequent election of the chairman, Steven was demonstrated by von Bargen and Jan-Ole Werner. New alternates are Andrea Dusek and Timo Hempel. As assessors complete Fuluk Liu, Karola Janusch, Jelena Jacobsen, Nicolai Kebernik, Alexander Kleinow, and David Fürcho the district executive team. LDK on 2 May - New officers were elected in the country

On 2 May, the first national delegates conference of the Young Socialists held in Hamburg this year. The LDK is the highest decision making body of the Young Socialists Hamburg and decide the substantive orientation of Landesjusos. The focus this time the elections were the new regional board, as well as numerous substantive motions, some of were very controversial. At this point I would like to thank all BUH-Young Socialists, which took part in the LDK and the flag of the North district have held up. In many parts of the conference we had, the only Barmbeker Jusogruppe, asked the delegates and demonstrated that successful thematic work is not enough to discuss in their own ranks, but it is also necessary, the issues and demands for outside and in the association to carry. Now for the results of the conference:
Nicholas Gildemeister was confirmed with the approval of 93.75% in office and is another year, the Young Socialists Hamburg represented together with the newly elected board to the outside. As a deputy state chairman was re-elected Torsten Hönisch, Vera Zielasko and Hauke Wagner. Newly elected as the fourth deputy, Dirk Schilling. We proceed! - Demo for Labor Day



Several thousand people participated again this year at the traditional Demonstationszug for Labor Day in part - so we Jusos, especially since the demo led them through our district. Besides the unions, solidarity and the left parties, led by the SPD and the Young Socialists with the workers to their demands for better working conditions, fair wages, improved job protection and good education to give expression. Still, Germany has no statutory minimum wage, provide an inadequate job protection and companies like KiK, Schlecker and Lidl, the low rates of profit and labor rights. The Young Socialists and the Social Democrats continue to fight for it, that this will change!
