stands for 125 years, the St. Gertrude's Church on Kuhmühlenteich not only in the heart of our beautiful district, but is also the geographic center of our city. Since the Palm Sunday of 1885, she characterizes the neighborhood and witnessed some terrible and many joyful events. The most famous candidate for confirmation at St. Gertrude Church is our former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, who was confirmed here in 1934. On 28 March 2010, the 125-year anniversary of our Uhlenhorster Church celebrated the church and invited to a special service at which all sorts of religious and political celebrities, many parishioners and friends of the Church in our district came together. Our Young Socialists group followed the invitation of Pastor and District comrade Heinz-Jochen Blaschke and participated in the solemn service, which highlights the performance of plays Johann Sebastian Bach's St. Gertrude Chamber Orchestra and the unveiling of a figure was the Holy Family, the community was given to the party.
